Vertech Inspections commissioned Techmatics Robotics to design and build a custom robotic inspection solution. The delivered system features a removable pan‑tilt camera with optical zoom, mounted on the top of the robot, along with an additional front‑mounted camera. The robot supports both wireless and tethered operation, providing Vertech Inspections with flexible options for inspecting pipelines, crawlspaces, and confined environments. -
Aviation Security Service (AvSec) - NZ
Techmatics Robotics was selected through a national tender process to supply under‑vehicle inspection robots and pole cameras for AvSec New Zealand. Following comprehensive user trials conducted over nearly one year, Techmatics’ solutions were chosen for deployment at all major airport vehicle entry gates. The robots automatically scan vehicle undercarriages and generate complete inspection images, enabling security personnel to identify hidden or foreign objects entering or exiting airport environments. -
JEVIC
Techmatics Robotics was contracted by the JEVIC Group to design and build an under‑vehicle inspection robot for vehicles intended for export. The robot is used to inspect vehicle undercarriages for rust and corrosion prior to auction and overseas shipment from Yokohama Port. This automated inspection process significantly reduced inspection time, delivering substantial efficiency gains for JEVIC, which processes thousands of vehicles. -

Techmatics Robotics designed and manufactured custom inspection robots for container and under‑vehicle inspections to support Australian biosecurity operations. Biosecurity New Zealand required an effective solution for inspecting under vehicle carriages for threats such as snakes, spiders, and foreign insects that could endanger New Zealand’s biodiversity and agricultural ecosystem. Techmatics Robotics supplied under‑vehicle inspection robots now deployed at the Port of Auckland. These robots inspect incoming vehicles, containers, and agricultural machinery, helping to prevent harmful organisms from entering the country undetected.
