Execute Low-Light Operations with Confidence

Dragonfly is a high-powered lighting attachment for the DJI Avata 2, ensuring operations can continue when visibility is limited.

DRAGONFLY

Lighting attachment for the DJI Avata 2

Dragonfly incorporates four high-power LEDs and an onboard rechargeable battery, allowing it to operate independently of the aircraft’s power system. Its compact, aerodynamic form factor and low mass are intended to minimise effects on flight time and handling, while a secure mounting interface ensures stable operation during manoeuvring.

FEATURES

4x LED Floodlights

Two forward facing and two downward facing, covering all viewing angles.

Rechargeable Battery

Up to 30 minutes of continuous lighting, enabling multiple flights with one charge.

Low-Profile Form Factor

Shaped to minimise drag and reduce impact on flight handling.

Lightweight Construction

Designed to maximise the aircrafts flight time.

Secure Mounting

Attaches firmly to the DJI Avata 2 airframe to prevent movement during flight.

Tool-free Installation and Removal

Allows quick attachment and removal in the field.

Mission Benefits

Low-Light Flight

Dragonfly Drone Lights create the illumination needed to operate drones confidently in environments where ambient light is otherwise insufficient. The front and downward facing LED lights provide clear visibility to the pilot, enabling safe flight even in tight areas.

Flying in confined or cluttered spaces depends on accurate depth perception and clear visual reference points. Dragonfly provides broad, even illumination that helps pilots judge edges, obstacles, and clearances with greater confidence, supporting smoother handling and reducing the likelihood of contact with surrounding surfaces or overhead hazards.

Low-light video can degrade rapidly through noise, motion blur, and loss of detail, limiting what an operator can reliably interpret. By increasing scene brightness and reducing harsh shadows, Dragonfly improves image clarity and contrast, enabling faster confirmation of conditions and reducing the need for repeated passes.
