Techmatics Robotics was contracted by the JEVIC Group to design and build an under‑vehicle inspection robot for vehicles intended for export. The robot is used to inspect vehicle undercarriages for rust and corrosion prior to auction and overseas shipment from Yokohama Port. This automated inspection process significantly reduced inspection time, delivering substantial efficiency gains for JEVIC, which processes thousands of vehicles.
