Welcome to Techmatics Robotics New Zealand. By purchasing products or engaging services from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview


Techmatics Robotics New Zealand designs and builds robotics systems to order. All our robots

are handcrafted and customized based on individual client specifications. By placing an order,
you agree to the terms and conditions of the order.

 

2. Orders and Customisation

 

  • All products are made to order and are tailored specifically to customer requirements, or are standard off-the-shelf products made to order.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate specifications and confirming all details before production begins.
  • Once production has commenced, changes or refunds to the order may not be possible or may incur additional costs.

 

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
  • A deposit or full payment may be required before production begins, as specified in your invoice.
  • Full payment must be received before delivery or handover of the product.

4. Delivery

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided but are subject to change based on the complexity of the project and supply availability.
  • We will not be liable for delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., supply chain disruptions, natural disasters).

5. Refund and Replacement Policy

 
No Refunds

 

  • Please choose carefully. Due to the custom and handmade nature of our products, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect selection, or buyer’s remorse.
  • Each robot is handmade to order and built according to specific client requirements.

 

Replacements and Repairs

 

  • In the unlikely event your robot arrives damaged or does not function as specified due to a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
  • We will assess the situation and, at our discretion, offer a repair, replacement, or modification at no additional cost if a fault is determined.
  • This policy does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, mishandling, or modifications made by the customer after delivery.
 
Warranty

 

  • Our robots come with a limited warranty of 24 months, covering manufacturing defects.
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse.

6. Intellectual Property

 

  • All designs, software, and documentation provided with the robot remain the intellectual property of Techmatics Robotics unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Customers may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the product or its design without our explicit permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

 

  • Techmatics Robotics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.
  • Maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.

8. Governing Law

 

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
