Hades-5 is one of our most advanced under vehicle inspection robots . Used internationally by various governments all over the world it is one of our most versatile compact inspection robot. The robot uses a 1080p high definition camera mounted on a custom tilt bracket (-20° to + 90°). Our tilt camera head has high -power LED and IR lights allowing users to switch them on demand to inspect hard to reach dark areas under the vehicles.
We use the high power Herelink transmitter to view the inspection with no lag. The controller has been programmed to turn on the LED lights , IR lights on demand . The user can press a button on the controller to use our advanced optical zoom camera for a closer look. Users can also change the view from HD camera to thermal at a press of button on the Herelink controller.
Users can take snapshots, record a video on demand both using the HD and thermal cameras. The live view of the inspection can also be wirelessly transmitted to another device such as phone, tablet or a laptop for a secondary view. Our unique software allows you to record video with Audio and also mark on the screen for potential hazards or areas of interest while doing the inspection. This can be played back and used on a report or a presentation to highlight and specify the problem .
The robot comes with four individual ball bearing planetary gear motors perfect to go through rough surfaces with ease. It’s splash proof design and build allows vehicle inspectors, engineers and surveyors to inspect multiple types of vehicles due it its low clearance height of 100mm. It comes in a watertight case for easy transportation. The custom app provided is easy to use making it a friendly system to operate.

Unique Camera design with HD camera and thermal camera
At Techmatics we have designed and built our own camera system with a high power lens providing true optical zoom. We do not use off the shelf cheap camera systems. Users can use the optical zoom function to clearly see
We built our own PCB for our robots with built in battery protection making it safe for our users. This unique PCB also allows for for adding other functions such has sensors and lidars to suit different applications. Every robot comes with the latest version of our PCB.
Laser cut and folded aluminium chassis
We use aluminium chassis which are laser cut and powder coated to be dustproof and splash proof. We have designed and made the chassis ourselves and have tested it extensively on sand, snow, grass, dust, wet areas and rough ground. Our unique design performs brilliantly in all these areas. The wide surface area allows the robot to be stable and sturdy in all these areas stopping it from rolling over.

High quality carry case
Safe case Trolley included for storing and transportation of the robot. This hard moulded plastic outer shell contains high density foam which can be shaped to accommodate any item that will fit within the dimensions of the case; making it perfect for the robot. These cases come with a solid carry handle which will stand up to quite large weights, an extendable pull handle with roller wheels for easy portability and each case is firmly clamped shut with heavy duty clasps on the sides of the case. Dimensions 615 x 485 x 240 mm.
Unlike other robots we use the Herelink controller for our robots. As one of the best controllers in the market we have programmed it to work with our robots for easy one click use to control the lights and telemetry data. The robots' unique wireless video transfer technology allows seamless video transfer in hard to reach areas with ease compared to other robots. This is an all in one system and controls driving the robot and transmitting video data. Users can take photos, video with audio, draw and mark on the screen to identify damages. Battery life of the robot is also displayed on the controller screen allowing users to see how long they have battery on the robot before needing to charge.
